You are here: hülsta  Service  Inspiration  All about living  Floor plan basics
The floor plan is the secret of success for your interior.

In order to avoid unwanted surprises after your furniture purchase, you should draw a floor plan of your home beforehand. It is important to produce a separate and true to scale sketch for each wall.

Your drawing should include:

- Room dimensions
- Ceiling height
- Door and window dimensions
- Electrical connections
- Radiators
- Fireplaces

We also recommend to include the following terms with the respective symbols:

- Light switch
- Socket
- Ceiling light
- Wall light
- Antenna
- Telephone
